Armstrong Atlantic State University athletes have achieved a double-net win. A rarely-achieved feat, both the AASU Men's and Women's tennis teams recently won NCAA Division-Two National Championship Titles at the tournament finals in Houston. Challenging enough for either the men's or women's team to bring home the top trophy, in fact this victory marks the fourth national title win for the Armstrong women. But for both teams to do so in the same year is an absolutely tremendous achievement, and one credited to strong recruiting, program building, and very hard work all season long, by both the players and coaching staff. Our congratulations to the Armstrong Atlantic varsity tennis teams for their great national wins. These achievements bring terrific credit to both their fine university and to the greater Savannah region.
