New Development Selling to Many Savannahians

SAVANNAH, GA--Development is booming on the Savannah River in downtown Savannah. Construction workers are paving the streets to make way for Savannah River Landing's first homes, businesses and parks.

Home sites start at $300,000 and go up to nearly $2 million. Savannah River Landing won't start selling homes until early January; however, the company said many are already spoken for by Savannah residents.

"We have a lot of product out here at Savannah River Landing in the form of condominiums, estate homes and city homes," said Kate Freeman with Savannah River Landing. "Right now, of that product, almost half of those are under reservation and nearly 78 percent of that is under reservation by Savannahians."

Construction starts early next year.
