Federal Agents Remembered at Training Center

They served their country here at home and gave their lives protecting it. Wednesday, loved ones and fellow agents paid their respects.

Hundreds gathered at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center to remember the graduates killed in the line of duty. They remembered four agents killed in the past year and 152 others over the past thirty years. They also paid tribute to local and state officers lost in the Glynn County area.

"These are heroes, the men and women of this memorial are the true heroes. They gave their lives in the ultimate sacrifice to protect others," said Connie Patrick, director of FLETC. "Every year we commemorate them by remembering their service."

The four names added today are already inscribed at the National law enforcement memorial in Washington.
