HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - One woman is dead after being struck on her motorcycle in a tragic road accident.
It happened at the intersection of E.G. Miles Parkway and Pineland Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Hinesville police say the thirty-six year old woman was riding her motorcycle on the parkway when the driver of a pick-up truck attempted to turn left onto Pineland in front of her. Instead he hit her.
The driver said he didn't see the woman coming at him.
The motorcyclist has not been identified. Charges are pending against the driver.
