PORT ROYALS, SC (WTOC) - Oysters are a Lowcountry delicacy. This weekend you can get your fill at the 13-th annual Family Oyster Roast sponsored by the Rotary Club of the Lowcountry.
In addition to the oysters, they'll have entertainment, a live auction, door prizes, homemade chili, hotdogs and much more, all to help charities in the area.
"I'ts valuable to the community because it puts money back into the charities, CAPA being one of them," said Rotary member Alan Beach. "We have a long list of charities we give to every year."
The Oyster Roast will be held this Saturday night, November 7 at 6pm at the Live Oaks Park behind Port Royal Elementary School in Port Royal, South Carolina.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children 10 and under are free.
Tickets are available at Bay Street Jewelers at 843.524.4165 and at the UPS Store at the Cross Creek Shopping Center in Beaufort.
