SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Voters will hit the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots for special and municipal elections.

Folks in Bloomingdale, Pooler, Port Wentworth, Thunderbolt and Tybee Island can vote for mayoral and council races.

There's also a big special election taking place in our area. Buddy Carter and Billy Hair are running to fill the seat for Georgia senate district one, left vacant by Eric Johnson who is now running for governor.

The polls will be open Tuesday from 7am to 7pm. Contact your local board of elections office for voting locations or visit our Nov. 3 election information page.
