HAMPTON COUNTY, SC (WTOC) - The Hampton County Sheriff's Office says four suspects have been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting.
Around 2am on October 31, the sheriff's office says officers responded to a shooting at the Gifford Community Center.
According to the sheriff's office, witnesses told officials that one person had been shot and was taken to the hospital by a friend.
The victim, 22-year-old Steven Carter, was shot in the arm and was released from the hospital on Sunday. Officials also say several cars had gunshot holes.
Four suspects, Cris Burrison, Marcus Allen Fields, Harold Lee Jackson and Steven Laverne Gadson, were arrested in connection with the shooting on aggravated assault and vandalism charges.
The Hampton County Sheriff's Office is still investigating.
