METTER, GA (WTOC) - A Metter man is in jail accused of stabbing his former girlfriend to death.
Police say James Thomas killed Sharon Mincey at her home on Martin Luther King Drive in Metter Tuesday night.
Police, sheriff's deputies and others found Thomas later than night. Thomas had been released from jail that day after serving time for disorderly conduct.
He's back in the Candler County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
