Sometimes your best isn't enough. Sometimes you have to go the EXTRA MILE!
If you know of a team, group, individual or organization that has gone the EXTRA MILE on the field or in the community, you can nominate them for the Vaden Extra Mile Award.
Each week, the Vaden Family of Dealerships will award $500 to the group or individual that's gone the extra mile. And they'll be featured Fridays on THE NEWS at 6:00.

When times are tough, you have to dig a little deeper. That's what they're doing at the Welsey Community Center making them this week's recipient of the Vaden Extra Mile award.
Making sure that teens are focused in a positive direction is the mission of David Herndon, the director of the Boys and Girls club of Southeast Georgia.
Judy Clark believes in the healing power of horseback riding for children. She runs a program called Horsin' Around that offers free horseback rides to children with special needs.
