MCINTOSH COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - Authorities in McIntosh County have arrested a third suspect wanted for a bank robbery in Darien.
They say three suspects walked into the Heritage Bank in Darien with weapons and demanded money Monday.
After robbing the bank, officials say they jumped into a car and drove off, leading authorities north on US Highway 17.
The driver lost control and slammed into a stop sign before hitting a tree. Two of the suspects were arrested but the third took off.
Tuesday, deputies and other local, state and federal officers arrested the third suspect at a home in Brunswick.
The case is still under investigation.
