FORT GAINES, GA (WALB) - A Fort Gaines woman was murdered before her boyfriend committed suicide on a city street about 2:15 Monday.
The GBI says the couple argued at the home they recently purchased. Authorities say she left in her car headed to a Fort Gaines bank when he rammed her vehicle with his truck.
Then authorities say he dragged the woman from her car, shot her and then shot and killed himself.
Authorities identified the victims as 29-year-old Angela Sands and 40-year-old Eddie Heard, Jr.
State troopers from the Cuthbert Post were called to Fort Gaines to deal with the crowd that gathered at the scene.
